COMMUNITY
Kicks for Kids 5K & Family Fun Night

Lace up for more than just a race. Join us for the Kicks for Kids 5K & Family Fun Night, where every step makes a difference. Hosted by the Genesis Foundation for Fitness & Tennis (GFFT), this special evening combines fitness, family, and fun, all for an incredible cause: providing underserved children in our community with brand-new athletic shoes.
For many kids, a pair of shoes is more than comfort, it’s confidence, belonging, and opportunity. By participating, you’re helping ensure that local children can play sports, stay active, and step into gyms and classrooms with pride.
The evening kicks off with the 5K run/walk through Goddard, followed by a community celebration at the Genesis Sports Complex. Stick around for burgers, beer, and refreshments, as well as music, games, and fireworks, because this night is about more than running; it’s about coming together as a community to uplift kids who need us most.
Event Highlights
- Timed 5K Run/Walk benefiting underserved kids
- Post-race Family Fun Night with food, music & games
- Burgers, beverages, and community celebration
- Proceeds go directly to buying athletic shoes for local children
Grab your friends, family, and running shoes, and join us for a night of fitness, fun, and heart. Together, we can make sure that every child has the opportunity to run, play, and dream big.
