Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour
Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour was born from Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival which began in Banff, Alberta. In 1976 a tight-knit group of climbers and outdoor enthusiasts conceived The Banff Festival of Mountaineering Films. This was one-day gathering that became the renowned international Festival it is today.
Over 30 years ago, Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival began an outreach program to bring the Festival to other communities. This has become known as Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour.
Like the first festival in Banff, the tour began small – three cities across Canada. Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour now reaches over 40 countries and brings mountain films to an audience of over 550,000 worldwide in approximately 550 locations.

Cars & Coconuts
Cars and Coconuts: September Night Meet marks the first official after-hours event for this beloved car community, bringing a new late-night energy to the East side at Sharky’s Island Bites.
Running from 9PM to 11PM on September 13, all car lovers are invited to enjoy a relaxed evening of cool rides, good vibes, and great food in a respectful and safe setting.
With clear rules in place and Wichita PD onsite, this night meet sets the tone for a new era of community-driven car culture.

Wichita has a chance to win a national grant that could bring a free outdoor concert series to Exploration Place for the next three summers.
The Levitt Foundation is inviting the public to decide which cities will receive up to $120,000 in grant funding to present free, family-friendly concerts. It'd be a huge win for the city.

Greater Andover Days (GAD) is a festival that occurs the 4th weekend after Labor Day weekend. The event offers handfuls of fun, food, and entertainment for the entire family! Over 5,000 people attend GAD annually. The festival includes a food court, KidFest, parade, fishing clinic, car show, business expo/craft fair, carnival, live entertainment, and a fireworks show in Central Park.
