Bourbon Salute

Bourbon lovers, this one’s for you. If you’re a fan of good bourbon, BBQ, and Team McConnell you’ll want to be at Temple Live on August 9th from 6-9pm for the 7th annual Bourbon Salute. This event raises money that goes to the First Sergeant’s Council to help our Airmen at McConnell AirforceBase.

The Aftershocks head to the TBT semifinals

The Aftershocks continue to win and have now advanced to the TBT semifinals on Thursday at 7 p.m. right here in Wichita!
The winner will advance to the championship game which would then take place on Sunday in Wichita should the Aftershocks win.

Museum of World Treasures Customer Appreciation Day

Join us for our yearly Customer Appreciation Day event at the Museum of World Treasures! This Saturday, August 2, we are offering discounted admission for only $6 per person plus tax. Throughout the day, we will have special activities available throughout the Museum, making it a fun and memorable experience for all ages. Additionally, Museum memberships will be 20% off in-store throughout the day.
Wichita Princesses from 11AM – 1PM
A special with Wichita Princesses will join us from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM! Meet Mermaid Princess and take a photo! Meet and greet is included with the price of admission.

Audacy Wichita is bringing the heat this summer with the Summer Concert Series, offering free concerts under the stars Naftzger Park. The community is invited to enjoy live music, food trucks, and good times every Friday night.
Naftzger Park | Music starts at 8:00 PM
August 1: Lucky People – A high-energy band mixing today’s hits with classics from every era. Known for powerful vocals and a tight rhythm section, they deliver a fun, upbeat show perfect for summer nights.
August 8: Monterey Jack – Known as Kansas’ “cheesy band,” Monterey Jack brings big energy, bold personality, and a show that is part concert, part comedy, and an all-out good time.
August 15: Roadhouse Saints – Kansas’ premier classic rock cover band keeping the golden age of rock alive with timeless tunes, big guitar riffs, and the perfect vibe for outdoor summer nights.
All shows are completely free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and their dancing shoes. Each night will also feature a rotating lineup of local food trucks and beverage vendors, so come hungry and thirsty.
