10 Years of Indoor Rock Climbing

Bliss Climbing & Fitness is turning 10! Since opening Wichita’s first full-service indoor climbing gym on Black Friday, 2015, we’ve loved every minute of building a community of climbers, movers, and adventurers. To celebrate this milestone, we’re inviting everyone to experience climbing at Bliss with $10 day passes all weekend long — starting Friday, November 28!

Whether you’re a seasoned climber or trying it for the first time, there’s no better time to check out what Bliss is all about.

And don’t forget — the weekend wouldn’t be complete without our 10-Year Throwdown on Saturday, November 29, from 6 PM – midnight, featuring food, drinks, a mechanical bull, DJ Trāo, and more.

Dinner on the Grill at All Things BBQ

The Dinner on the Grill cooking class at All Things Barbecue is a fun evening that provides an exceptional three-course meal, along with three wines paired and presented by the evening’s sommelier.

The next class takes place Friday, November 14.

This immersive cooking class guides participants through the preparation of an elegant three-course meal, combining refined techniques with comforting seasonal flavors. The experience begins with delicate croissant toast points topped with whipped cheese, crispy fried prosciutto, a drizzle of balsamic, and a touch of cured egg yolk. For the main course, attendees will learn to grill tender Cornish game hen served with a cranberry gastrique, silky potato purée, and smoky Brussels sprouts tossed in a warm bacon vinaigrette. The class concludes with a decadent pumpkin tiramisu, layered with spiced mascarpone and espresso-soaked ladyfingers — a perfect finish to a sophisticated culinary journey.

Throughout the class, you’ll learn essential grilling techniques, tips for achieving perfect flavor pairings, and how to prepare each course with finesse. With the addition of expertly matched wines, this class promises a memorable evening of cooking, learning, and dining.
