NEW EVENT
Wichita Flavor & Barbecue Fest
The first Flavor & Barbecue Fest event is coming October 9-10 at Gilley’s Gambling Hall and brought to you by Wichita Festivals!
This barbecue competition and festival is a Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned event, one of the nation’s leading authorities on competitive BBQ.
The Flavor and Barbecue Fest will be held on the Back40, an expansive 40-acre outdoor entertainment venue and patio at Gilley’s and is expected to attract top barbecue teams from across Kansas and the region, creating a destination event for barbecue enthusiasts, competitors, and families.
Applications are NOW OPEN for Master Series BBQ contest, food vendors, non-food vendors and food trucks.
If you think you have what it takes to be the best Pit Master in the city, now is the time to sign up to compete.

Beats & Bubbles

This Saturday, July 18, at NewMarket Square from 10:30 am to noon there’s a FREE FAMILY EVENT!
It’s Beats & Bubbles at the NewMarket Square Plaza in front of Barnes & Noble. This is an entirely free event and the community is invited.
Kick off the day with an interactive music class led by Kim Noller Music, where kids can sing, move, and make music together. After the music class, stick around for even more family fun including face painting, sidewalk chalk, free popsicles and more.
