NEXT WEEK
Restaurants open on Christmas Day

As usual, the biggest question this time of year isn’t, “What do you want for Christmas?” It is “Can you tell me the Wichita restaurants open on Christmas Day?”

You’ve come to the right place! Here’s this year’s list!

This will be a working blog, so save this link and check back often to see what updates are made. As the big day looms closer, I know many more restaurants will officially confirm they will be open.

Banish bad ads for good

Your site, your ad choices.

Don’t let intrusive ads ruin the experience for the audience you've worked hard to build.

With Google AdSense, you can ensure only the ads you want appear on your site, making it the strongest and most compelling option.

Don’t just take our word for it. DIY Eule, one of Germany’s largest sewing content creators says, “With Google AdSense, I can customize the placement, amount, and layout of ads on my site.”

Google AdSense gives you full control to customize exactly where you want ads—and where you don't. Use the powerful controls to designate ad-free zones, ensuring a positive user experience.

Holiday Popups!

New ones are getting added regularly to our Holiday Pop-Up Bar list! This week’s addition is a new one at the Wichita Marriott that started this week! Catch some holiday spirit at one of these festive options!

Pop-up bars, much like pop-up shops, are limited time experiences. People have a small window of time to enjoy the themed events and honestly, I would say the best one are the holiday pop-up bars.

COMMUNITY
Maddox Strong

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
We are asking our community to come together to honor an incredible 11-year-old warrior who has been bravely fighting a rare and aggressive cancer known as ATRT (Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumor).

This young man is incredibly smart, full of personality, and deeply loved. Doctors have shared that there are no further treatment options available at this time, and his medical team is exploring possible clinical trials. Time is precious, and our hope is to surround him and his family with love, encouragement, and support during this difficult journey.
We invite you to participate in a Car Parade of Honor to show him just how much his community cares.

  • His favorite color is RED — please wear red if you can!

  • He loves the Kansas City Chiefs

  • He loves music, especially Tech N9ne

  • He enjoys South Park

  • He loves Nerf guns

  • He enjoys small LEGO sets

  • Clothing size: 10/12

  • Decorate your cars with red, positive messages, lights, signs, or anything that shows encouragement and love. Let’s make this a powerful and joyful moment for him and his family.

Event Details:
Location: Meet at 2435 e Mt Vernon to line up.
Date: 12/26/25
Time: line up by 3:00 pull out 4pm
The family has shared that they will be accepting donations at the event for those who feel led to give. All donations will go directly to supporting the child and his family during this incredibly challenging time.

If you are unable to attend, please consider sharing this invitation, wearing red in his honor, or keeping this brave young man and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Let’s come together to honor his strength, his spirit, and his life.
Thank you for standing with them during this time.
