New Restaurant in Old Town

Time to welcome Wichita’s newest eatery, Haven Restaurant & Lounge. Located at 315 N. Mead in Old Town Square, it takes over the former Todd Brian’s Brick Street Cafe space.

The new restaurant specializes in Southern-inspired dishes and is now open to the public.

Holiday Galleria

Holiday Galleria is Junior League of Wichita’s annual upscale shopping event featuring local, regional, and national merchants. This is Holiday Galleria's 20th year. The objective of Holiday Galleria is to raise funds to fulfill Junior League of Wichita’s goal of building a better community.

Aside from the jewelry, clothing, Christmas decor, there are a ton of food vendors on hand. Whether you’re looking for sweet or savory treats, spices, sauces or food related gifts, there’s a lot to check out.

CJ’s Last Stop Cafe

Who should we feature in next week’s mini-feature? Readers decide who we promote for free in the newsletter

This week’s Mini-Feature was suggested and shared the other week but after a recent plea for help via a Facebook post, I strongly encourage everyone to try and make some time to stop by CJ’s Last Stop Cafe.

Located at 1548 S. Ida St. CJ’s Last Stop Cafe offers a menu of homecooked dishes such as burgers, sandwiches, enchiladas, chicken fried steaks and more.

This is one of two Peruvian restaurants in town. It’s one of those places you know a lot of love is put into each of the dishes; many of which you don’t see much of in Wichita.
