MOST LIKED DONUTS
Time To Pick a Winner
It’s been two years since we last had a Wichita’s Most Liked Donut tournament, but since that time the original winner, The Donut Whole, closed down.
That means we must crown a new champion. Over that time, a few more donut options have come in, but many have also closed.
Voting will take place on our Facebook page and newsletter.

Chicken Salad Chick

Do you love chicken salads? If so, you’ll love the latest restaurant planning to hit Wichita. It’s Chicken Salad Chick.
The fast-casual restaurant chain specializes in all things chicken salad, with salads and sandwiches. The primarily southern chain originally started in Alabama in 2008 and now has over 280 locations in 20 different states.
Records show that three permits were recently filed. An address is listed for 10240 W 29th Street, which is the northeast corner of 29th and Maize Road in the strip center immediately south of Sam’s Club.
WEEKLY MINI FEATURE
Fusa

Who should we feature in next week’s mini-feature? Readers decide who we promote for free in the newsletter
This week’s Mini-Feature was suggested by Debra.
Over at Kellogg & Greenwich, sits FUSA. They are an Asian fusion restaurant that opened nearly a decade ago after being located inside Towne East Square from 2003 to 2011.
While many people may classify them as a Chinese restaurant, they are truly a fusion restaurant that encompasses all sorts of different dishes like burgers, quesadillas, burritos, jambalaya, smoothies, boba and more. Don’t be intimidated by their vast selection, they have a little of everything that can meet all food preferences.
When I lived out east, I frequented this place quite a bit. But since moving, it’s fallen off my radar, so I want to thank Debra for not just putting this on your radar but mine as well.
You can even order online at www.fusawichita.com

DINING SCENE
Openings and Closings

Food Truck
I was recently blown away by a meal I had from a food truck called PaPa C's Backyard BBQ. A while back I had their BBQ when they were doing popup dinners. Since then, a food truck was acquired, and I saw it parked outside of Central Standard Brewing one evening.
