Local bartender competing on the national stage

Nathan Thurnau
The bar manager at Good Company at 930 W. Douglas, Nathan Thurnau, is representing Wichita in a cocktail competition.
Recently, Thurnau was one of just six bartenders selected to compete in Home & Away, a daiquiri competition in Kansas City. He went head-to-head with some of the most talented bartenders in the Midwest and won the entire region!
Now he’s headed to New Orleans to participate in the biggest cocktail event in the country. He’ll be facing bartenders from LA, NYC, Miami and more.
If you’d like to help Thurnau, he’s having a cocktail event at Good Company with ticket proceeds going to support his trip. Tickets are $25 and gets you:
A full serving of Nathan’s competition cocktail, High Plains Ronin
Access to an intimate, small group experience having Nathan make and serve his cocktail exactly how he’ll present it to the judges in New Orleans
Spirits tasting with our local Probitas Rum representative
A chance to mingle with fellow cocktail lovers
