Point Nine

There’s a new restaurant now open in Andover, KS called Point Nine. It’s dubbed a trailside eatery found at the .9 mile marker on the Redbud Trail. If you aren’t into riding bikes, it’s also accessible by driving your car to 1539 N. Andover Road.

Teriyaki Madness

One of the fastest-growing chains in the country, Teriyaki Madness, will make their debut in Wichita in August.

The Denver-based Asian fusion fast-casual chain opens their second Kansas location in the Shops at Avante at 3801 N. Ridge Road. This is the same strip that holds Just a Sip/Papa’s Ice Cream, Bricks & Minifigs and Jimmy’s Egg.

Vietnamese Night Market

The next Vietnamese Night Market is scheduled for August 23 from 5pm to 11pm at 3441 E. Harry.

It’s free to the public and includes lots of Vietnamese food, karaoke music, dancing, a Lion Dance, $600 cash giveaway and more!

Did I mention Vietnamese food? That alone should get everyone to go.

This week’s Mini-Feature was suggested by Bill O’Donnell.

It also happens to be the right week as the suggestion of The Kitchen aligns with the birthday of the owner, Natasha Gandhi-Rue.

The Kitchen is located at 3622 N. Oliver. There you can expect fresh, from-scratch bistro classics.

This is homestyle cooking with a touch of love. There’s homemade soup, artisanal flatbread, burgers, pastas, and cakes made from scratch. There’s also a full bar and even a private dining room for parties.

It’s also an ICT 100 Restaurant.

Hours for The Kitchen are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

There’s a new drive-thru coffee option for Maize, KS, and northwest Wichita. Bloom Coffee Co. recently took over Buffalo Brew Coffee Company’s space at 4605 N. Maize Road. This is the northwest corner of 45th and Maize Road.
