After the chicken restaurant closed its doors earlier this year, The Easy Egg decided to take over and open another store that will specialize in breakfast and lunch cuisine. Hours will be 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
UPCOMING
Michelada Fest 2025

A new event is coming to the Kansas International Dragway at 7800 W. 61st N.

FOOD NEWS
QuikTrip now serves sushi

Most people have probably tried QuikTrip’s roller grill but did you know you can now add QuikTrip sushi to your gas station food cravings list?
The popular convenience store chain based out of Tulsa, OK, recently added sushi to their line of quick, grab & go meals.
To my knowledge, most locations in Wichita should now carry the QuikTrip sushi which can be found in the open air cooler where there’s sandwiches, yogurt, and microwavable burritos.
WEEKLY MINI FEATURE
J&A’s Flavored Kitchen

Who should we feature in next week’s mini-feature? Readers decide who we promote for free in the newsletter
This week’s Mini-Feature was suggested by Jessie Farley.
This is perfect timing as this local food truck, J&A’s Flavored Kitchen, is one of the hardest working guys in the business. Putting in late hours, hustling at all hours of the day, this locally owned mobile vendor is literally all over town.
The menu consists of wings, burgers, mac & cheese and more. They also have flavor combos that give people a little bit of everything.
The best way to find J&A’s is to follow them on Facebook. They are constantly on the move so who knows where they will be at next.
