KVH Chophouse

It’s taken a while to get to this point, but one of northwest Wichita’s most anticipated restaurants is nearing opening date.

I have received lots of questions about KVH Chophouse over the past year and it’s looking like people can plan on a June opening… potentially July.

When it comes to fine dining, this place is looking to raise the bar. Steaks, wine, champagne, whiskey…. the team at KVH Chophouse is working hard to get everything ready for the summer.

Guess what? No more tickets this year at the Wichita RIverfest food court!

And business lunch hours, once again require no button Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Who should we feature in next week’s mini-feature? Readers decide who we promote for free in the newsletter

This week’s Mini-Feature was suggested by Vincent Nwagwu.

It opened to lots of fanfare back in July 2024. Kyuramen, located at 314 N. Rock Road, wowed lots of people with their beautiful interior. It might be the most Instagrammable restaurant in town.

Aside from the aesthetics, Kyuramen x Tbaar is a dual-branded restaurant. The Tbaar side sells fruit teas, boba and smoothies.

EVENT
Lao New Year Festival 2025

It’s one of the biggest events of the year. Hyperbole? No.

This three-day event takes place at the Lao Buddhist Associates of Kansas at 2550 S. Greenwich Road.

Come experience and enjoy the cultural celebrations of Lao New Year festival.
