THIS SUMMER
Here’s To You Live: Interactive Dinner

🎙️ Here's to You Live | June 5th @ Odd Fellow Hall

An intimate supper club meets live podcast recording, cocktails, family-style dinner, and unfiltered stories from real creators, builders, and owners. This is the room for people in the middle of becoming something.

Early bird tickets are $50 (through May 15) — general admission goes up to $70. Seats are limited. Come alone, leave with people.

Sidenote: If you love a good local podcast, check out Here’s To You on your favorite podcast platforms. I listen to it regularly. Many locals I know have been on it and it’s a great listen.

DINING SCENE
Let Him Cook…. literally

There’s a new food truck in town offering chef-driven cuisine who looks to bring cultures and traditions together through the power of food. It’s Let Him Cook International Eatery.

The beauty of Let Him Cook International Eatery is they aren’t bound to any specific genre of food. Personally, I enjoy variety and that’s what you get here.

THIS WEEKEND
Kentucky Derby Time at Hopping Gnome!

Join us for a Race Day Watch party at the Gnome!

We'll have the Kentucky Derby on the big screen on our patio, fresh mint juleps flowing, and The Burnt End here serving up dinner so you can settle in and make an afternoon of it.

Throw on your best Derby-style outfit for a chance to win prizes for a Best Dressed contest, grab a pint or mint julep, and watch the fastest two minutes in sports with your fellow Gnomies.

NOW OPEN
Night Owl Cafe

When I’m driving down the street, my eyes are always peeled on businesses I haven’t seen before. That’s how I came across Night Owl Cafe located at 1018 W. Maple St.

And let me tell you, I am sure glad I saw it because the place was an instant hit for me.

Los Supreme Glizzies sells Mexican-style all-beef hot dogs. It’s a new food truck based out of Hutchinson, KS, and also serving the Wichita area that started in 2025.

THIS WEEKEND
Tacos and Tequila!

Tacos and Tequila is one of Wichita’s most anticipated festivals. Join us at the Wichita Boathouse for a day of entertainment, games, food, tequilas, and an assortment of other drinks. Food and drinks will be for sale by local vendors, no ticket required. Tequila tasting tickets available below.

Kick off summer with: Great tacos and treats – Tequila, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks – DJ and karaoke – Games for everyone – Mariachi and live music – Cultural activities and art.

Indoor and Outdoor Venue - Open to the Public - No Purchase Required

NOW OPEN
Los Supreme Glizzies

A stop by the Final Friday Food Truck Rally at the Wichita Boathouse introduced me to a food truck I’ve never heard of, Los Supreme Glizzies.

As the name suggests, this food truck specializes in glizzies or the term most of the world is more familiar with… hot dogs.
