COMMUNITY
Women-Owned Restaurants

March is Women’s History Month.

Throughout the month, I’ll showcase some awesome women-owned restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Save this blog and check back again later to see the newest additions!

NOW OPEN
The Pinnacle Pizza Company

832 N Webb Rd

The newest pizza restaurant in Wichita, The Pinnacle Pizza Company, opened its doors to the public on Wednesday.

This locally owned eatery specializes in what the owners dub as Arkansas-style pizza. It’s something they loved after visiting a restaurant they told me about called Bariola’s Pizzeria in Arkansas. Let’s take a look.

LOCAL DINING
Kababji Grill’s Ramadan Buffet

6257 E 21st St. N

With Ramadan underway, one restaurant, Kababji Grill, is offering an evening buffet. It’s intertwined with Iftar which is the daily evening meal used to break the fast during Ramadan at sunset.

Kababji Grill offers the buffet starting at sundown around 6 p.m., until they close for the day. It’ll be available from now until March 19.

The buffet costs $22 a person and let me tell you, it’s worth it.

If you’re looking for different cuisines with unique flavors, this is one to check out. The buffet features Middle Eastern dishes with a big emphasis on Iraqi cuisine.

DINING SCENE
Openings and Closings

At the southwest corner of Douglas and Emporia, you’re going to find one of the sleekest new coffee spots to open in Wichita. 11:11 Coquetry Maison celebrated their grand opening on Friday. Let’s take a look inside.
