RESTAURANT NEWS
All You Can Eat Sushi coming back to Wichita?

More movement has taken place at 2636 N. Greenwich Ct.; a space previously held by Buffalo Wings & Rings. Signs have been posted for Izumi, which is a regional all-you-can-eat sushi chain.

Rumors have been floating about a Japanese sushi and hibachi restaurant moving into Greenwich Place to take over and this is another sign (literally a sign) that it’s coming. Another sign in front of the building says, “All You Can Eat”.

An entity with potential ties to a regional restaurant chain called Izumi Hibachi and Sushi is listed on the space but nothing has been confirmed yet.

If it's true, it could be a very busy restaurant as it's been years since Wichita last had an all you can eat sushi place. The last one was Mizu Sushi who closed years ago.

As stated, nothing is confirmed and no listing for a Wichita location has been placed on Izumi's website.

WEEKLY MINI FEATURE
China Inn

4605 E. Central Ave.

This week’s Mini-Feature was suggested by Judy Fouquet.

Over at 4605 E. Central, you’ll find one of the lesser talked about Chinese restaurants called China Inn.

We live in a city full of fast casual Chinese spots, and this is one place where you can slow life down a little and grab a seat at a nice sit-down casual eatery.

With many of the fantastic Chinese restaurants closing over the years like Mings, Magic Wok, and others, China Inn is a great alternative to those looking for something a little higher quality than the fast casual locations.

If you decide to check them out, I highly recommend ordering one of the sizzling plates.

Hours are Monday and Tuesday 4:30pm to 9pm, Tuesday through Friday 11am to 2pm and 4:30pm to 9pm, followed by Saturday 4:30pm to 9pm and then Sunday when hours are Noon to 2:30pm and 4:30pm to 9pm.
