NOW OPEN
The Coffee Barn
I was given whim that a teenager is giving the world of entrepreneurship a try. With that a young man in the community recently opened up The Coffee Barn at 1550 S. Meridian in Valley Center.
If you love supporting young entrepreneurs or just love coffee in general, add this place to your list. Full review and menu in the link below.
COMING SOON
Tropical Smoothie Cafe
Wichita can expect to see a third Tropical Smoothie Cafe opening around summer time.
The fast-casual restaurant chain originally arrived in Wichita in 2021 when it opened the first location at 2768 N. Maize Road. A couple of years later, it followed with a second store at 9730 E. 21st St.
Now, a third is coming to the Cooper Ridge strip center at 217 S. Ridge Road which recently had a Jersey Mike’s open.

Wichita’s Most Liked Restaurant
We are down to the Elite 8 of Wichita’s Most Liked Restaurant. Technically only one spot is left to be determined.
So far two restaurants have advanced to the Final Four:
Station 8 BBQ
Angelo’s
Voting is currently underway on our Facebook page where as of last night, only one vote separated Ziggy’s Pizza and Georges French Bistro.
Then on Monday, the final matchup between Buster’s Burger Joint and Kobe Steakhouse will take place.
