Veterans Day is just around the corner. It’s a day for some wonderful food deals for veterans and active military; a day to honor those who fight for our country. If you’re not a veteran, but would still like to show some love, I’ve also included a list of veteran-owned restaurants and food trucks in the Wichita area.

Wichita By E.B. Christmas Party

It’s back. The Wichita By E.B. Dinner Series. Our 15th edition will celebrate the season of giving for our annual Christmas party.

Mark your calendars for December 17.

Once again the dinner will take place at Station 8 BBQ. DJ Carbon will be there playing Christmas tunes and our friends at One Life Spirits will be a part of the festivities.

This year’s dinner will be in honor of my mother and we will be using proceeds from the dinner to raise at least $1,000 for Fresh Hope,

The organization seeks to empower single women who are struggling to make change in their lives to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve their goals. This may include challenges related to their health, career, relationships, personal growth, and overall well-being.

It is designed for women who are seeking a fresh start and are ready to work harder than they have ever worked – but need some help getting started.

Tickets for the Dinner Series XV go on sale next Monday!

Braeburn Square will soon see a new addition to the dining scene with the arrival of Rajadhani Indian Cuisine.

The restaurant will take over the former Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen space at 4510 E. 19th St. N. that closed in February 2025.
