Crispy Donuts to open a third Wichita location

2110 N. Maize Road

Wichita was introduced to Crispy Donuts in 2023 when it opened at 460 N. West Street. That was followed up by a second location opening at 4857 E. Harry St.

Now the popular donut shop that recently won the title of Wichita’s Most Liked Donut Shop is once again expanding.

This time, it’s headed to northwest Wichita at 2110 N Maize Road. It’s the space that’s been a multitude of Mexican restaurants, including David’s Express, Alejandro’s Fast Mexican, and Lalo’s Express.

Viva Tacos & Tequila

9719 E. 21st St. N.

The newest Mexican restaurant in Wichita just opened at 9719 E. 21st St. N. Viva Tacos & Tequila is a regional chain with two other locations in Leawood and Olathe, KS.

Wichita is the latest stop on their expansion as they have taken over the space that was once Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que, Greystone and Jax Restaurant.

Blazin Halal Food

After Le Monde announced it would be closing after 30 years in business, it didn’t take long for someone to take over the space at 602 N. West Street.

Blazin Halal Food soon announced plans to open in the former Le Monde building, with signs going up months later.

And now, 6-7 months later, people have started to wonder if plans fell through on the restaurant.
