One of the most popular bars in the history of Old Town is about to be up for auction on August 11. Heroes Sports Bar & Grill, the classic downtown hangout spot at 117 N. Mosley, was a staple of night life for many for 30 years.
Open houses for Heroes take place on July 30, August 11, and August 17 with bidding beginning on August 11 and ending on August 19 via an online auction.

The popular and polarizing restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory, finally has an opening date for it’s arrival at Bradley Fair in Wichita, KS.
The wait now has a date. The Cheesecake Factory® will open its doors at Bradley Fair on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, bringing its famously extensive menu, generous portions and namesake desserts to the region’s premier outdoor shopping and dining destination.

Aftershocks Play Friday Night
The Aftershocks lost a heartbreaker to the Enchantment on Thursday night to force a final Game 3 in a best of 3 series.
$10 tickets are available for Game 3 which takes place Friday night at Charles Koch Arena at 8 p.m.
If the Aftershocks win, they will host a game against either the KU or K-State alumni team on Monday night. (Tickets on sale immediately following a win)
