FEATURE
Free Exploration Place membership
On Thursday, Exploration Place celebrated the completion of its EP2 Initiative, a $27 million outdoor expansion of its riverfront campus. The project encompassed two major additions: the Wichita Foundation Amphitheater and the Adventure Playscape.
It’s become one of the best destinations in Wichita. So why not pair that with what users are calling the best fiber internet service in the area? For a limited time, new customers who use promo code EXPLORE at sign-up will receive a free install and a FREE Household Membership to Exploration Place.
Only 300 memberships are available.
And if you do sign up, please don’t rub it in. I’ve been clamoring for them to come to my neighborhood forever. It’s come to the point, I may have to move to a different part of town to get my hands on IdeaTek.

I had such a blast on Thursday night at Equity Bank park for Banana Ball.
I’ve never experienced it before and would certainly do it again. Games have sold out for Friday and Saturday and if you’re curious of what’s going to take place, where to park, how to get in, etc.
We got you covered with the latest blog discussing what to expect at Banana Ball.

On April 29 and 30, 23 bands participated in the first Riverfest Battle of the Bands.
The competition consisted of 10-minute sets at Wave where the winning band would go on to play on the main stage at Riverfest on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. ahead of Sage the Gemini and Gym Class Heroes. On top of that, they would receive the $1,000 grand prize.
