FEATURE STORY
Stroud’s will close on May 15

In what has been a big shocker in the local food scene, Stroud’s Restaurant & Bar announced they will be closing.
After more than 30 years, the restaurant shared the announcement through a post on their Facebook page.
Located at 3661 N. Hillside, the last day for Stroud’s will be Thursday, May 15. That’s your last chance in Wichita to get your hands on the pan-fried chicken, gizzards, livers, and all of the other house favorites that has been a part of many family traditions over the decades.

Whataburger Officials in Wichita?

It’s been reported, officials flew into Wichita over the past week.
As has been reported multiple times over the last couple years, Whataburger is expected to open. It’s also likely to be one of the stores to open in the later waves as the Kansas stores begin to roll out.
Why were they here? Nobody is commenting. It could be to scout locations or perhaps they drove up from the recently opened Ponca City store to fly out of the Air Capital.
Nobody knows… well Patrick Mahomes might know.
