LOCAL SHOUTOUT
Wheat State Ghostbusters

Have you ever heard of the Wheat State Ghostbusters?
I’ve seen them around town at various events like Comic Cons but never knew exactly who or what purpose they served besides being afraid of no ghosts.
Come to find out, the Wheat State Ghostbusters is a Kansas-based fan group of individuals who share a love of Ghostbusters, at the same time support the local community through fundraising and charity work.
I want to give them a shout-out. Last weekend, they had a Spirit Day Event at Station 8 BBQ where they were able to raise over $450 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and give out some fun prizes to diners during the day.

With the streets closed to traffic, this event creates the perfect environment to walk, bike, run, skate, or dance your way through the day.
