Is Wichita going to get "lucky" with Bowlero? Only time will tell

What Up Wichita?
Big potential changes coming to one east side bowling alley plus a lot more as we are finally in March.

In today’s email:

  • Bowlero: Is Wichita feeling lucky

  • Must Try New Restaurant: Louis Fried Rice

  • Illusionist Rick Thomas: Who won those tickets?

FEATURE STORY
More Changes for “The Alley”?

11413 E. 13th St. N.

In 2023, Bowlero acquired Lucky Strike, an entertainment facility with bowling and other options all over the country. As you may know, Bowlero purchased some bowling alleys here in town as part of their buying spree. That included The Alley at 11413 E. 13th St. N.

Then late last year, Bowlero officially rebranded as Lucky Strike Entertainment. They have also been rebranding many Bowlero locations as Lucky Strike and giving it a more “upscale” vibe”.

Rumor has it that the Alley will be part of that Lucky Strike rebrand while the other two could remain as Bowlero.

A brand new restaurant, I encourage everyone to check out is Louis Fried Rice.

Located at 1710 S. West Street, it’s a nice addition to an area of town that’s short on dining options.

The menu features rice soups commonly known as Cháo, wings, Vietnamese sandwiches otherwise known as bánh mì, a limited Chinese menu and, of course, fried rice. Read More.

Be sure to check your email every Monday morning for the Dining Digest with even more restaurant news.
