Today, March 13, marks the grand opening day for the Adventure Playscape at Exploration Place.
You know what would be cool? Find a teacher who’s been working hard and send the teacher and their classroom on an all expenses paid trip to check it out. So let’s do that.
I want to send one local Wichita teacher and their classroom on an all-expenses paid trip to Exploration Place in either April or May. Busing courtesy of Wichita Public Schools Foundation , admission, a visit to the new Playscape, and lunch will all be covered by yours truly.
I need your nominations on who and why. We will select one teacher and send their entire classroom on us. Let’s give the kids a cool opportunity and love on a teacher who has excelled in the classroom.

The biggest St. Patrick’s Day party takes place Saturday, March 14 when the Paddy Day Parade returns to the Historic Delano District.
It’s the modern day revival of what people know as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The streets have been striped green in Delano, it’s expected to be a nice day, and now everyone is just waiting for the big day to arrive.
