St. Patrick’s Day

The city turns green this weekend with St. Patrick’s Day celebrations taking place in Wichita. As always, we’ve put together a huge event guide here.

While there are some big events in town, it’s safe to say a majority of the people will be down in Delano for the Delano Paddy Day Parade and in Naftzger Park for the Wagon O’Masters Paddy Party.

Here’s everything you need to know for the two big parties taking place.

Paddy Day Parade Agenda

10am - 6pm: Street Party & Food Truck Rally
10am - 3pm: Kids Zone
Drink Truck Zone: 10am - 3pm
Noon: Paddy Day Parade
1:20pm - 5:30pm: DJ Dugger

Wagon O’Masters Paddy Party

9am: Food and Beverage sales start
9am: DJ Carbon
10am- 5pm : Opening Ceremony, Live Music, Games, Raffles and more!
Noon: Dixon Knowles
1pm: Caledonians
2:30: $1,000 gift card giveaway
3pm: Jaelen Johnston
4:10pm: Dixon Knowles
4:45pm: Walser Car Raffle

COMMUNITY
RiverFlix is Back

RiverFlix is back for 2025. Located outside of Exploration Place at the Wichita Foundation Amphitheater, families can catch a movie underneath the star. It’s free to attend for everyone!

It takes place every Friday from April 18 to October 17 (except for July 4 and then October 3 for the Drone Festival). That’s 25 weeks of free entertainment.

Families are invited to bring a blanket, snacks, and a join the community on the lawn of the Wichita Foundation Amphitheater to watch family-friendly movies every Friday.

No registration is required, all you have to do is show up.

Restaurant Opening

7607 E. Douglas Ave.

Probably the surprise opening of the year goes to Super East at 7607 E. Douglas right outside of Towne East Square.

The Chinese buffet has drawn big lines following their opening day on Monday.

Many people, including myself, have gone on to say it very well could be the best buffet in town. Read More.
