Andover’s first Freddy’s opens today
Andover’s first Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens Friday, October 24.
The fast-casual restaurant concept that started in Wichita, KS, expands once again in Kansas with a new location at 646 E. Cloud Ave. near the YMCA. It marks the tenth location for Freddy’s in the Wichita area, including locations at Wichita Wind Surge concessions and in Derby.

One of the plans for Todds Creole Kitchen when it first opened earlier this year was to include a Sunday brunch buffet. It’s finally here.
The new addition to Sunday just launched, and we made sure to stop by and visit.
Todds Creole Kitchen Sunday brunch buffet runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 316-295-4260.
The cost of the buffet is $29.99 for 13 and up and half price for ages 6-12. Kids 5 and under are free.

New Video Series
Be on the lookout on my various social channels for a new video series coming in collaboration with my friend Jacob Clark with Manage To Create.
We will be traveling around Wichita interviewing restaurant owners who are in need of help.
I’m talking about the smaller mom-and-pop shops that don’t have the know-how, the connections, and, most importantly, the budget to market themselves.
We want to give them a platform to put butts in seats and help them spread the word of what they bring to Wichita.
These are hard times for restaurants, and this little pro bono project so to speak is something we want to do to give back.

RETURNING TO WICHITA
Toys R Us
The world’s most iconic toy store is making a return to Wichita.
After leaving the city in 2018, Toys R Us is making a comeback with a storefront coming to Towne East Square.
I guess I’ll have to review another toy store soon as this one is expected to open in time for the holiday shopping season.
Anybody think they’ll carry labubu dolls?
