Banana Ball is coming to Wichita
On Thursday, the Savannah Bananas announced a 45-state 2026 Banana Ball World Tour. And guess what! They are coming to Equity Bank Park.
And in the most Wichita move ever, we aren't getting the Savannah Bananas but one of the two new teams in the Banana Ball Championship League, the Loco Beach Coconuts who will face off against the Firefighters.
While it's not the Savannah Bananas, I'm sure it'll still be fun to watch, and I'll enter the raffle to try to get tickets.

Wichita Adaptive Sports / Fortune 88 Run Club
When I started this page 14 years ago, it really was just a journey about food. But over the years, I've been blessed and fortunate to build a platform to spotlight my city (and yes, poke fun at it sometimes).
While food is still a part of it, I want to be able to do more meaningful and impactful things to pay it forward and leave a mark for the future of Wichita... our youth. As a father, it's important for me to make sure our kids think Wichita is a special place.
Next month on Sunday, November 2, I'll be partnering with the Fortune 88 Run Club, Scheels and DJ Carbon to support Wichita Adaptive Sports.
If you are unfamiliar with them, Wichita Adaptive Sports specializes in adaptive sports for those with physical disabilities. We will be inviting the youth for a special run club event, giving them support, letting them know people in the community are cheering them on, and we want to offer some extra surprises to be announced later.
If you're a business that would like to be a part of this event and give back to these youth, please PM me. It's going to be special.
