All The Closings

To help keep you up to speed, here’s our list of weather related closings (and delays) for Friday, January 10.

EDDYTORIAL EXCLUSIVE
ASK EDDY ANYTHING

My inbox and DMs get asked a lot. So I want to dedicate some time to let the readers have their questions answered. ANY QUESTION. Each week in the Eddytorial, I’ll personally respond and answer REAL questions/comments.

Will you stop making fun of Towne West?

Answer: No

How are the roads from Ponca City to Wichita?

Answer: I can’t say I've driven from Ponca City to Wichita lately, but my educated guess would be, “It’s not that great at the moment”.

What opening are you looking forward to most in 2025?

Answer: For selfish reasons, it’s either KVH Steakhouse or the west side KPot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot so it gives west siders more options for dining. I can only eat Barn’rds so many times a week.

Crimestoppers

Over the past couple months, there has been an increase in break-ins at many local Wichita trading card stores such as Wizard’s Alley, MoPigs, Pink Elephant Games among others.

The total cost of damages and theft has surpassed the $10,000 mark. It’s Pokémon cards, comics, and other collectibles; some are irreplaceable. The stores have pooled together and are asking for help.

A $2000 cash reward is being offered if you can help the stores catch the people involved.
